3/16/2005 - OOPS made a bit of a mistake. On 2/17 I incorrectly named a young female singer who was performing at the Acadia Cafe before Justin Law. Her name should be listed (And is now) as Bethany Larson. My apologies to her and to Naomi (who I never got a chance to hear)

3/05/2005 - Later Saturday - Bilimbi Bay, Apple Valley. I had a great group of 4 (2 girls 2 guys), 3 tables in front of me shouting "Jeff James" at the beginning of the night. Forgive me but I've forgotten your names since last I saw you. Thank you for being there and we'll meet next time. Tom & Jeannie - great to see you again. Dan & Carol (in the back) thanks, nice to meet you. Izzy and Rob - very nice to have you out again! Rob I forgot to mention yuou here a couple of weeks back when you brought in your friend (Steve?) The Joy of the evening was having a beautiful little 5 year old dancer named Danielle and her family Tony & Pat & Uncle Joe out on the floor dancing for most of the evening. 3/05/2005 - Saturday Eve - I was blessed enough to see the group "Selah" at Northwestern College. If you haven't heard them or seen them - it's an amazing experience. This Contemporary Christian group is up for 5 Dove Award Nominations this year and previously have won multiple Dove's in past years. Not only are they THE most powerful vocal group I've experienced, but the most humble and kind people I've met. Allan Hall (of Selah) was kind enough to give me a great review of the "Two Hands" CD. Allan has an amazing CD of his own on Curb records. We bought Todd's new CD as well though I haven't had a chance to hear it yet. review later. 2/28/2005 - *New Venue - Acadia Cafe, Minneapolis. A new venue, a new kind of show. A special thank you to everyone who came. This was one of the most important shows to me since I moved here. 2/17/2005 - Went to the Acadia Cafe in Minneapolis to drop off some promo materials for my show there (on Monday, February 28th at 7:00) I was going to leave but there was a very talented girl by the name of Bethany Larson (which incidently is my Sister-in-Law's maiden name)performing and it pulled me in. I haven't been held by a voice like hers since seeing Tift Merritt at a BMI showcase back in Nashville. She needs a little experience working the mic (I expect the monitor was a little loud) Other than that she was very good. After she was finished I decided to stay to see what the Headliner, Justin Law, was like. Justin has some great songs and did a really fine job of performing. He kept me there the rest of the night. I will definately go see him again.
2/15/2005 - Mark your calendars for Monday, February 28th. I will be performing an intimate show at the ACADIA CAFE in Minneapolis (corner of Nicollet and Franklin) Please bring your friends. This will be different from the bar grind. I'm very much looking forward to it.

1/26/2005 - Arizona's. There was a good crowd last night - I honestly don't know if they could hear very well though - I actually jumped out during the set to hear the guitar and it was barely audible. I feel like I'm a background radio there for the first hour or so. I believe I was turned up for the last 40 minutes

1/21/2005 - Eden Prairie - Blizzard in MN! It took me an extra 40 min to get there, I followed 3 snow plows most of the way. I didn't expect anybody to be out. I have several plans for this year. At some point I may begin recording shows and selling them at the end of the night. If anyone knows where I can get a good price on a Mac laptop (powerbook/ibook) please let me know (New or used) It's been suggested several times to put together an instrumental album. I have material - I would need to write a bit more. It's something I could work on.
More to expect in 2005: A weekly Blog of Shows. Pictures of fans at shows - More videos including clips from the "Holiday 04 with Jeff James" TV Special- Another TV special. Jeff James first DVD! Also I'll add a mailing list on the home page. For now if you'd like to be added to the mailing list for schedules and show blogs just e-mail me via my contact page.
