The above video is a promotional video and look into what a Jeff James Show consists of these days. Everything seen and heard here is LIVE. No pre-recording, no drum machines. Everything is either created with voice, guitar, or bass guitar using the Boss RC-50. A loop station allowing live 'loops' of these instruments stacking one on top of the other. This is a sampling of one evening at Enjoy! Apple Valley, MN and some studio examples that may give a better audio example of what everything is compiled of. James brings a songlist of 380+ songs in a mixture of Rock, Blues, Country, Folk, and original music.
The 2nd video is an acoustic mix from Nashville 04. The 3rd is a performance of Blaine the Mono from the JGR records album "Two Hands". The 4th is at the Acadia Cafe in Minneapolis "The Years" also from "Two Hands" The 5th is from the TV special "Holiday '04 with Jeff James"

This clip was created before Jeff started looping so you can picture a lot of these songs enhanced with harmonies, percussion and more guitars. Every night is different. Most shows are defined by the audience - that is to say the audience chooses the songs they prefer to hear. How? Jeff brings along songlists that vary widely in genre. With over 380 songs to choose from more people stay wondering what's coming up next. Never predictable, Jeff always welcomes the requests and works hard to keep each audience member happy.
